Albany State University (GA) Office of Academic Affairs invites you to a special presentation for ASU 1101 Students and Faculty. Featuring Her Excellency Dr. Arikana Chihombori-Quao, former African Union Ambassador to the USA.

The goal of this talk is to expand attendees’ international and cultural knowledge and awareness about Africa and Africans in the diaspora. Her Excellency will use stories from her newly published book, Africa 101 A Wake-Up Call to provide details. She will share inspiring stories about Africa and her children around the world, yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Her stories will be drawn from 23 chapters of her new book and her personal experiences working as an ambassador to the USA. Students and attendees will learn the truth about Africa: how the countries of Africa were formed, the continent’s development problems, and present opportunities as home for all, especially African-Americans.
