George Lackey is employed by Clark County Public Works. Prior to working for Clark County, he served for 20 years in the United States Navy where he was a Fleet Program Manager. He has a Masters of Public Administration from Ashford University. In addition, he is the Chair of Leadership Clark County, member of the Washington State University Vancouver Diversity Advisory Committee and Clark College Business Administration Advisory Committee. George developed a strong sense of devotion for public service in the past 25 years; during that time, he volunteered in the women’s battered shelter, mentoring the youth about financial management and assistant Ridgefield little league baseball coach. This experience kick started his passion for helping others and a deep appreciation for improving the quality of life for others.
