My journey in design began in Architecture, growing into Fashion; it then moved into Advertising, Photography, and Filmmaking, then finally landing in the Experiential. Each has been a phase that has been informed by what came before it. There are lessons from every step of my design exploration that I still apply in my work today; where I find myself currently in the content creation space. In trying to encompass all the varied things I do, I have developed a persona, which I have called Zika Crowned. This persona acts as an umbrella, under which I am a multidisciplinary designer who is passionate about African ideas and how they translate in the modern world. I have a strong set of skills in communication and design; shifting between the mediums of film, textiles, fashion, spatial interventions and digital communication.
