The key point that I want to make here is that African and other developing countries have allowed themselves to be held captive by European and American monetary constraints. African Nations should not borrow American money or European money to accomplish their objectives. As Rise says, acceptance is key. African Nations need to first FREE their currency and then use their fiat currencies to do what needs to be done. That means the currency should not be pegged. Let the currency Free Float.

Descendants of slaves and other Africans in the diaspora, I think, bring something very significant to Pan Africanism in that our blood is truly Pan African. We have ancestry from all over Africa. We are the African melting pot.

The challenge is education, employment and income. People migrate to urban areas to find these things. Often trading a healthy rural environment for a substandard shanty town existence. To break this trend there needs to be opportunities available to those living in the rural communities. Being able to go to school and work online increases the potential for rural living.

    Clive,

I think the Ghana convention is in December. I am looking forward to it. I would like to see more information provided on it. Such as exact dates, location, recommended hotels, goals and objectives.
This groupie large and powerful. We will be successful if we make it happen.

Africans in the Diaspora benefit from any accurate knowledge of Africa. To Know that you are from such an amazing place, such awesome land and resources. And to know that the people living in Africa welcome you home, is an incredible boost to our potential.
